Bifocal Riding Glasses: Can You Find A Good Pair

As a wearer of bifocals for the last few years I can tell you that when it comes to my everyday glasses, it’s hard to find a good pair that fit correctly and work as they should. Bifocals need to be properly positioned in order to allow seamless vision at multiple distances.

They also need to be made in such a way that the line between the two lenses is not going to interfere with your vision. When you start to see how hard it is to find good bifocals for every day glasses, you can start to comprehend the trouble that I have had finding a good pair of bifocal riding glasses?

To be clear, bifocal riding glasses are not intended to take the place of prescription eye wear. In fact, the main portion of the lens doesn’t provide any magnification whatsoever. It is only the bottom part of the lens that has the magnification and this is so that reading the instrument gauges will be easier for you. The problem with bifocal riding glasses is that they could hamper your vision when you are riding if they have not been made properly.

That’s not a good thing when you’re riding a motorcycle at 60 miles an hour.

I was lucky enough to come across a superb pair of bifocal riding glasses from the eyeQusa brand. They are the same brand carried by the Online Biker Shop on their website. The products in the eyeQusa range are made from top quality materials and the best thing about them is that they are priced very reasonably. I am really pleased with my purchase. My only regret is that I bought them from my local bike shop instead of the Online Biker Shop.

The prices are much more competitive at the Online Biker Shop and they don’t charge any shipping for United States delivery addresses so I would not have had to worry about that. At least there is the next time. I definitely plan to make my next riding glasses purchase with them. I might even consider a helmet cover and a few embroidered patches to go along with my order.
